«Επανεκκίνηση / Restart»

The socio-political movement “New Wave – The Other Cyprus” announces an open invitation for participation at their first art exhibition entitled “Επανεκκίνηση / Restart”, which will be held between 11th to 18th November 2021 at 10.10 Hall in Nicosia.

The socio-political movement “New Wave – The Other Cyprus” in collaboration with the pan- European movement VOLT-Europa extends an open invitation to all professional and non-professional artists to exhibit their pieces of art in the art exhibition “Επανεκκίνηση / Restart”.

The exhibition’s aim is to support and promote the artists’ expression in all its forms.

Creating art in an era when the global citizens are in process of redefining the way the world is conceived is significantly important. Creating art today helps us shape our individual and collective identities.

How can we shape a restart towards solidarity? How do we interpret our vision for a contemporary and democratic Europe?

The aim of this art exhibition is to create an open space for each artist or groups of artists to exhibit their pieces of art in any form they like, leaving their imprint for ‘Restart’.

We will highlight the multicultural aspect of the creative expression and trigger a dialogue between the artists and the public towards shaping a brighter future for Cyprus, Europe and the world. We will inspire each other and make fresh attempts for restart.
